Medical conditions, especially those affecting the heart, don’t just happen between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. That’s why Stanly Regional has the cardiology staff and technology in place to handle heart conditions—morning, noon and night.
You can receive care 24 hours a day, seven days a week from full-time, board-certified cardiologists with access to advanced diagnostic procedures. Working with experienced clinical professionals, our medical staff uses the latest technology to diagnose and treat cardiac disorders.
To make this happen, the diagnostic team uses a state-of-the-art diagnostic cardiac catherization lab as well as an array of procedures, such as cardiac stress tests, electrocardiography (EKG), echocardiography, stress echocardiography, dobutamine echocardiography and cardiac nuclear studies.
For inpatients needing continuous cardiac monitoring, Stanly Regional offers both telemetry and ICU/CCU units, staffed by experienced and certified clinical staff.
Cardiac rehabilitation is a comprehensive program designed to improve the physical and emotional health of people with heart disease. The program is designed to improve quality of life while reducing the risk of another cardiac event or helping prevent an existing heart condition from getting worse.
